Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2011 Collection

Once again, one of the famous Fashion Designers inspired me and made my life happier!! I can truly say, that the Louis Vuitton really knows how to shock people every season.

Either floral prints, animal prints, all them matched together to form ideal creations. So beautiful, everybody will fall in love in them!

Transparent long dresses, erotic decolletages and shiny black belts to add an even more feminine look. The models truly looked amazing, as if they came from a fantasy world. A world with many colors and... fantasy...

Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2011

What a night to remember!! Of course, I am talking about the night Louis Vuitton introduced his spring summer 2011 collection to the public. Wow! If you think the night was a night not to be missed- well... you are right! Here are some few photos from the runway show...

The Louis Vuitton collection, as you noticed, has nothing to do with one coloured outfits. The company itself revealed that for summer and spring they are trying to intruduce bright and cheerful dresses, oversized but colorful trousers, and funky flat shoes or sandals. They suggested that the season should be only about bright colours, getting rid of winter coats and furs and jumping into lighter fabrics- such as LV's fabrics!!

I have to say- it's finally nice to see so cheerful outfits. I was slowely getting bored of all those plain and heavy coats. And I really like the idea of wearing metallic-shot dresses with sequin sashes from waist to hip and animal-head sweaters -some of them covered in sequins.

Long dresses with an erotic cut on the side that ends on the hip area. Almost each model had either low-heeled sandals or low-heeled peep-toes. In either case, they were low. The outfits themself were glamorous and glittery that most models had no jewellery, as the addition of more spark could cause the look being overdone. I will skip the handbags, as my previous post is all about them!!

Louis Vuitton has once again inspired us with his amazing handbags ready to buy this coming summer. From bright colours to fantastic fabric, Louis has it all!!
This spring, though, LV tried to introduce small bags, smaller than last spring. Last year was all about big and heavy leather bags, remember?? This year, however, it is more about the colour, the delicate and feminine purses, clutches and sachets.

As the models walked through the alley, the bags reflected all the light, giving an amazing shine and of course, impression. leather Handbags with Glossy Louis Vuitton label written have certainly caught the viewers eyes!!

These are one of my favourite, Fully sequined handbags. As I am not a big fan of BIG labels ( I don't like to show off), I prefer smaller labels, somewhere in the corner, like these ones have.

If none of the above handbags suit your style, why not buy yourself a nice one-colour handbag? For spring 2011 the LV collection has a range of simpler handbags, more elegant, but still with a touch of imagination!!

Ahh, yellow reminds me of a Sunny, warm day, and I guess LV hit the jackpot when introducing this colour to his Spring 2011 collection. you can never go wrong with a yellow handbag in spring!!

When Louis Vuitton introduced the Speedy in 1930, it was designed to meet the demands of a new era of ever-accelerating travel. This was why it had originally been called the Express – quickly earning the name Speedy once its shape had been further streamlined.

Eighty years on, in a world that's even speedier, where communication is instant and images can circumnavigate the glove at the stroke of a key, don't we deserve the right to take a moment – event if its only a fashion moment – to appreciate the luxury of quality and craftsmanship?

Which is why the Speedy has been reinterpreted for Fall/Winter 2010-2011: flattened and stretched from east to west, given a new flap and top handle; reincarnated as a doctor's bag and clutch. The Speedy's materials have been reconsidered too. The Monogram has been flocked and sequined; woven in metallic threads; remade in Cloqué, and in guipure lace over duchess satin.
The Damier pattern has been recreated in fox, shaved goat and handpainted crocodile. And in its simplest form, the Speedy has been rendered in waxed calf and reconfigured as a doctor's bag in grainy, supply calfskin.
